By car

The airport is located at 5 kilometres from the centre of Antwerp and is easily accessible via the E19. 

The airport is located: 

• next to the centre of Antwerp.
• within 25 minutes from Mechelen.
• within 35 minutes from Sint-Niklaas and Turnhout.
• within 45 minutes of Brussels en Louvain.
• 25 kilometres from the Dutch border with North Brabant and Zeeland.

We recommend that you plan your route carefully in advance.

Low Emission Zone

Antwerp Airport is located outside the low emission zone of the city of Antwerp. The entire city centre of Antwerp and Linkeroever are a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) to ensure that air in the city becomes even cleaner. The most polluting cars are no longer welcome in the city. Since 1/1/2020 the conditions for admission have become stricter! Always check your vehicle with the check tool before entering the LEZ.
